1. Who you are contracting with
The service is provided by Rishabh Yadav (TestHive), registered at Mumbai, Maharashtra 400101, India (“we”, “us”).
Payments are processed by our Merchant of Record, Paddle.com Market Ltd. They are the seller of record for every subscription, they collect payment and handle applicable sales tax and VAT, and their descriptor PADDLE.NET* is what appears on your card or bank statement. Their terms apply to the payment transaction in addition to these terms.
2. The service
TestHive is an automated software quality platform. It crawls a web application you nominate, generates and executes browser and API tests against it, captures evidence such as screenshots and logs, and reports defects it observes.
Test generation and failure diagnosis use automated analysis and, where configured, third party AI models. Results are advisory. We do not warrant that the service will find every defect in your application, nor that every issue it reports is a genuine defect. You remain responsible for your own release decisions.
3. Authorisation to scan — your responsibility
This is the most important obligation in these terms. You may only run scans against a site or API that you own, or that you have explicit permission from the owner to test.
- By starting a scan you represent that you are authorised to test the target, and that automated traffic to it does not breach any agreement you are subject to.
- You must not use the service to test, probe or attack systems belonging to third parties without their written permission.
- Scans generate real traffic and may submit real forms. You are responsible for pointing the service at a suitable environment rather than at production data you cannot afford to alter.
- We may suspend an account immediately where we reasonably believe scanning is unauthorised.
4. Accounts
You must provide accurate details and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at support@testhive.tech if you believe it has been compromised.
Any credentials you store for testing a target application are yours to manage. Supply dedicated test credentials with the minimum privilege needed, never production administrator accounts.
5. Plans, allowances and billing
Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance through Paddle.com Market Ltd. Current prices are shown on the pricing page and are the prices that apply at checkout.
Each plan includes a monthly allowance of site audits: Free — 5 site audits per month; Pro — 100 site audits per month; Team — 1000 site audits per month; Business — 5000 site audits per month. Enterprise allowances are set by agreement. One audit run consumes one audit credit; auditing the same URL again consumes another. Allowances reset at the start of each billing period and unused allowance does not carry over.
Exceeding your allowance does not incur an automatic charge. The service stops starting new audits until the allowance resets or you move to a larger plan.
6. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel at any time and your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for. Refunds are covered in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.
7. Acceptable use
- Do not use the service to break the law, infringe someone else rights, or distribute malware.
- Do not attempt to circumvent plan allowances, rate limits or access controls.
- Do not resell or white-label the service without a written agreement with us.
- Do not use the service to generate load intended to degrade or deny service to any system.
8. Your content and our intellectual property
You keep ownership of everything you supply: target URLs, credentials, specifications and any data the service captures from your application. You grant us the limited licence needed to operate the service for you — to run the scans you request, store the resulting evidence, and show it back to you.
We keep ownership of the platform itself, including the test generation, execution and self-healing engines, and the interface. Nothing here transfers that to you.
9. Availability
We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may carry out maintenance, change features, or discontinue parts of the service. Where a change materially reduces what a paid plan provides, you may cancel and receive a pro-rata refund of the unused portion of your current period.
10. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose. In particular we do not warrant that the service will identify all defects, vulnerabilities or accessibility issues in a target application.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the service in any twelve month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost or corrupted data.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
11. Termination
You may stop using the service and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, particularly the scanning authorisation obligation in section 3. On termination your right to use the service ends; see the Privacy Policy for what happens to your data.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects your rights we will give reasonable notice by email or in the application before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, save that either party may seek injunctive relief where necessary.
